mount vernon estate and gardens

George Washington’s Mount Vernon will host an unforgettable evening featuring an exclusive culinary conversation and garden party with Michelin two-star chef Patrick O’Connell, founder of the Inn at Little Washington. O’Connell’s celebrated institution is the world’s longest tenured Five Star and Five-Diamond restaurant. On May 10, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., O’Connell will share inspiring stories about his journey to culinary acclaim as his signature restaurant, The Inn at Little Washington, celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Enjoy signature cocktails and light fare inspired by O’Connell’s recipes while listening to the acclaimed chef discus history and culinary adventures with Robert Fasce, the Inn at Little Washington’s director of business and brand development and O’Connell’s former sous chef and protégé. This one-night-only event takes place in Mount Vernon’s beautiful 18th-century upper garden. O’Connell will be signing his latest publication, A Magnificent Obsession, following the talk.

Tickets to this exclusive evening program are $150 for Mount Vernon members and $175 for non-members. For more information and to purchase a ticket, please visit mountvernon.org/gardenparty.
