Metro Service information for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, 2017

The following is a press release from Metro:

“On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, Metro service will operate as follows:

Metrorail: The rail system will open at 5 a.m. and close at midnight. Trains will operate on a Saturday schedule every 12 minutes with no track work scheduled. Off-peak fares will be in effect all day, and parking will be free at all Metro-operated facilities.

Metrobus: Buses will operate on a Saturday supplemental schedule, with some late-night (post-midnight) trips canceled on selected routes. For details, please check the bus timetable for your route.

MetroAccess: Service will operate normal hours. However, subscription trips will be canceled unless specifically requested.

In addition, Metro’s customer information call center will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday. Automated information is available 24/7 by calling (202) 637-7000.”
