During the Civil War, the Lincoln family called the Cottage home. On September 17, 2022, we welcome everyone to enjoy the grounds with a full day of racing and family fun at Homecoming!
Highlights include our morning Freedom 5K race followed by a FREE family day with pony rides, a petting zoo, and arts & crafts activities, followed by a family-friendly afternoon performance by the Petworth Jazz Project.
There’s something for everyone! We hope to see you there.

FREE favorite films on Lincoln’s lawn? It’s all happening on three dates this fall. The Lincoln family came to the Cottage to relax and enjoy each other’s company, and we invite you to do the same. Bring a picnic (or popcorn) and sit back and enjoy.
