Have you shifted sand with the sound of your voice? Played a “Simon Theremin?” Tried your ear at “Sounds Against Humanity?” Are you flexible enough to compose a physical melody through “Sonic Twister?”
DC Listening Lounge is excited to announce the IX annual Sound Scene – an interactive audio installation. This year, DC Listening Lounge is pleased to present the one-day-only event in partnership with the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
Sound Scene: Sculpting Sound will feature live music, interactive audio exhibits, DIY sonic construction projects and more. Come capture your personal sound signature, take an aural tour of the museum, improvise a song with the central fountain, solve puzzles and choose your own audio adventure (literally).
Please join us for a day of sound so rich and exciting, your other senses will be jealous.
