For 2020, we are still waiting to see what kind of ceremony will be held at Arlington National Cemetery. There will be a virtual ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. (https://www.vvmf.org/honorservice/)

When is Veteran’s Day being celebrated this year, I usually bring a group of 50 of Veteran’s to Washington on that day. but the holiday falls on Sunday this year, and I noticed some the activates we attend are on Saturday.

Most events are on Veterans Day itself, however some events do take place on other days. We will update our calendar when the event location(s) update theirs. Some have not listed their event day yet. Until we have that information, we will show last year’s date as a reference.

Veteran activities are wonderful. Mulvaney is crazy trying to say that it will cost $30 million to have some veterans walk down the street. They certainly aren’t asking for money.

According to the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs: “The ceremony is free and open to the public. For those interested in observing the wreath ceremony, space is limited to standing room only. Inside the Amphitheater, seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are not required to attend and we anticipate the event to conclude at Noon. “

The closest parade we know of is the Manassas Veterans Day Parade, which takes place on November 4, 2017 at 11 am. For more information, visit http://www.vetpar.org.
